LOOKING FOR A GOOD HOME-PLEASE ADOPT US! We need to find a new home for Zoey and Zack. This year has been difficult for us, with changes we never anticipated. Stuart lost his job (but has found another, not quite the same, but ok) and now we have sold our house. We will be renting a very small high rise apartment downtown and although they allow small pets, I have been having nightmares about Zoey and Zack falling to their death from the balcony (8th floor). There are no other windows in the unit except the sliders to the balcony and they love going outside. Also, the apartment is so tiny, they won't have the room to run around like they do now. If they were older and more sedate, it might work but I think they would be happier in a larger place. My daughter wants to take them but she lives in a tiny apt. in Philly and I feel that would also be cruel. She's in grad school and after she graduates, may move to NY city. She will be very angry I'm making the decision to find them new homes but I'm trying to do what is best for them. They will adjust as they love everyone. They jump into the arms of complete strangers. I love them so much that this is very hard for me but after many sleepless nights, I think it's the best. I need to find a loving family that will take both of them; someone that will be very responsible for their welfare and has a home they can be free to run around in. I wanted to see if you knew of anyone that would take them. I have all their kitty things: cat tree, litters, beds, toys, dishes, cat carriers, etc. We have all the medical records and they are in perfect health. I was thinking of talking to our vet to see if they knew of anyone but I thought I would check with you first. They are such special cats; extremely friendly and loving. We had expected to have them forever but life sometimes throws a curve ball. I would appreciate any help/advise you can offer on finding them a new home.
