Little Potato is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved.
Little Potato is one snuggly, cute kitten. She may take a few days to warm up to her new surroundings, but once she is comfortable she will cuddle right up to you and purr, purr, purr. Sometimes she will even softly pat your face. Potato is a champion biscuit maker. It’s adorable when she is falling asleep & is kneading away.
She loves to play with most toys, but her favourite is anything with a laser. She will chase that red dot until she is exhausted.
She seems interested in having a friendly cat friend to play with. The resident cat isn't so friendly, but she keeps on trying to be friends. Little Potato has just entered the kitten phase of trying to bite anything - be prepared. Kittens grow out of this, but for now expect some chomps. Your feet when you move in bed, the cushions, paper and anything else that looks like it needs a little bite. She is also interested in what you are eating. She isn't forceful about it and a gentle push away is all that's required, but she will keep on trying. She does lose interest eventually.

Additional adoption info
Adoption fee is $200 per adult cat, and $250 for kittens (under 8 months old).
This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!
Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $200.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $150 per cat vs. $200 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
