My name is Dexter!

Hey there, I`m Dexter! You may be able to tell by looking at me, but I didn`t get the best start in life. It seems I spent most of my time out and about in the world, but now that I`m a senior gentleman, I`m really hoping to find a home! I was lucky enough to spend time in a foster home, and my foster dad reported I was a lower energy fella and easy to take on walks, though I do tucker myself out quickly. I am very interested in toys but prefer `tuff` toys - these old chompers still have some life in `em! I did get a good refresher course on potty training and was picking up on it quickly, though I may still need some work on feeling comfy in a crate. I am still working on feeling comfortable around other dogs and may prefer to be the only pup in the home for now. I would give anything to spend my golden years with you, so I hope we can meet today!
