Luna is a 50 lb hound mix with floppy ears and a fun loving personality. At a year and a half old, she has beautiful tri color markings and a happy tail that never stops wagging. Luna recently sustained an injury that led to the loss of her back leg. This hasn’t slowed her down and she still cruises around her fosters yard playing. She is an active dog but becomes quite cuddly once she is tired out. She loves to give kisses and be around both humans and dogs. She currently lives with two cats and doesn’t appear to have any issues with them. She is crate trained, rides well in the car, walks beautifully on leash and seems to be doing well with house training.
Luna would be great addition to someone who loves long walks or going to the dog park. She is ready to find her forever family, please apply if you think she could be a fit!
If you are interested in adopting Luna, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
