My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Jack, the charming tabby kitten who's ready to find his furever home! With his soft, striped fur and big, expressive eyes, Jack is a little shy at first but has a heart full of love just waiting to bloom.

Jack enjoys his quiet time and prefers to observe his surroundings before diving into play. But don't let his shyness fool you-this sweet boy has a playful side that shines through, especially when treats are involved! He's learning to come out of his shell and is motivated by his favourite snacks, making him a PURRfect candidate for a patient and loving family.

Jack would thrive in a calm environment where he can feel safe and secure. With a little time, patience, and plenty of treats, he'll be your loyal companion, ready to share quiet moments and gentle purrs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress
