This sweet, neutered boy came to us as a stray with an old back injury that left him unable to use his hind legs. But don’t let that fool you—Adonis is a fighter, and his zest for life is contagious!

He’s incredibly affectionate and loves being around people. Adonis is adjusting to wearing diapers and is learning to use a wheelchair, showing just how adaptable and resilient he is. With a little extra care, he’s ready to live a happy, fulfilling life filled with love and joy.

Monday-Friday: 1 - 5 PM
Saturday: 12 - 4 PM
Sunday: Closed

We do not allow public walkthroughs of our kennel areas in order to reduce the stress, fear and anxiety of our animals. Books are available at the front lobby for patrons to view our adoptable pets' pictures and bios.

The Animal Control Division is composed of one Animal Control Supervisor, three Animal Control Officers, and three Animal Shelter Assistants. The Animal Control Division provides enforcement of the City's ordinances on animal control. They work to balance health, safety, and welfare needs of people and animals. The Animal Shelter is a City owned and operated facility. It provides housing and other shelter services for Gillette and Campbell County.
