My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Rosemary was brought in by a community member on September 29, 2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Rosemary! This sweet pup is ready for a long-term relationship where she's the star of the show. Rosemary's personality is already shining through as she works on mastering potty training and learning the ropes of puppy life. She's got a lot of energy and curiosity to spare, so you'll want to stay on your toes! As Rosemary is still figuring out her doggy etiquette, patience and positive training will go a long way in helping her blossom. She'll be your loyal companion for all the adventures to come, whether it's a walk in the park or a cozy night in. Ready to meet your new co-pilot? Don't forget to bring a leash and collar when you come to adopt this little lady. Rosemary can't wait to start creating memories with you!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
