Meet Leona: A Sweet Soul in Search of a Forever Home!

Leona is a delightful 2-year-old spayed female pup who is happy and eager to please you. Leona’s journey began sadly when her family left her behind in the yard with the side gates open, hoping she would wander off. Thankfully, a compassionate neighbor noticed her plight and contacted our rescue.

When I arrived to bring Leona to safety, she was a little shy at first. However, it didn’t take long for her to warm up. Within minutes, she was happily accepting pets and following me onto my car. After scanning her microchip, I contacted her previous family. They were surprised to learn that Leona had been staying put all that time, but they admitted they could no longer care for her.

Leona has received a thorough vet check-up and has a clean bill of health. At 75 lbs, she’s fully vaccinated and tested negative for heartworm, parasites, and other conditions.

Despite Leona's challenging past, she has blossomed into the sweetest companion. She’s affectionate, cuddly, and friendly, with a gentle demeanor that makes her a joy to be around. Leona gets along with men, women, kids, and both dogs and cats. She is smart and eager to learn; she quickly learned some basic commands.

1.
Meet the Pet

Text 949-331-6299 to communicate with the rescue manager.

2.
Submit Application

During this process, we also will conduct an interview.

3.
Home Check

This process includes checking with landlord, references you provided and possibly your employment.

4.
Approve Application

Once application is approved, we do have a trial adoption period of up to 14 days.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once you have done the trial and know for sure you want to adopt the dog, then there is an adoption contract that needed to be sign.

6.
Pay Fee
