Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Rez is a sweet dog in need of a stable, loving home—a home where he can finally feel safe and cherished. This precious soul has experienced trauma that has left him anxious and unsure of the world around him.
Rez needs someone who is patient and kind, someone who can offer him the time and love he so desperately needs. This dog thrives on gentle encouragement and stability, and I believe he would flourish in a rural setting where he can roam freely in a yard and explore the beauty of nature.
It’s important to note that Rez tends to bond better with women, finding comfort in their nurturing presence. He is a bit hesitant towards men when first meeting, but he will open up within a short amount of time. He needs a guardian who understands the delicate balance of building trust and providing reassurance. With your patience and guidance, he can learn to let go of his past and embrace a brighter future.
Please, if you have a space in your heart and home for this deserving dog, reach out. He is waiting for someone to believe in him, to show him that not all humans are unkind. Together, we can give him the chance he needs to heal and to become the loving companion he was always meant to be.

We require the family meets the pet for local adoptions and introduces the pet to their family and other family pets. There is an adoption application. We reserve the right to ask for and check references, including vet references. The adoption fee is only our vetting fee and any transportation costs that may be incurred.

Our pets are all in foster homes. One of our volunteers is always available to introduce prospective families to our pets, by appointment.

More about this rescue
We are a group of volunteers that realized the need for a rescue in our area for animals that are considered "last chance." We work with neglected, abused, starved, dumped, abandoned, injured animals. We have rehabed and adopted 2 Great Danes that were days from death because of starvation, a dog that was attacked by Coyotes, 2 gun shot victims, a dog that was purposely set on fire (we couldn't save her but we provided the vetting services for the family). We have rescued at least 50 dogs that have been dumped and abandoned including several mothers and litters that we work to get into rescues out of state.
