Peanut is a sweet one year old terrier mix weighing in around seven pounds. He loves attention, and playing with lots of toys! He’s good with other dogs, we are unsure of how he would be with younger children, but does great with the teenagers in his foster mom’s home. He is doing great on going potty outside and only had a couple of accidents inside. We are working on sitting and waiting for food. He has been on the leash and does pretty good but needs work. His adoption fee is $350 and includes neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. Hi, My name is Marianna. 15 years ago during my last trimester of my pregnancy, I have rescued 5 m old puppy pit bull, who was emaciated, locked in the shed, and under socialized. 2 weeks later, the puppy has prevented me from drifting into diabetic coma by waking me up while I was laying on the couch. I named him 2nd Chance, or Chancey, or Momma' Boy. As much as I have saved him, he has saved our then unborn daughter and also me.

When my daughter turned 5 months old, I have decided to start rescuing pit bulls from the public, and also, the shelters. My life has been changed forever by rescuing the most abused and neglected breed in US. I feel that now my life has a purpose. Today, I am a mom, Human Resources Professional, friend, and the Rescuer. I am honored to be able to rescue fur kids and find them great homes.
