If you are looking for a snuggle bunny, Casper is your man! This sweet little doggie has come so far since being surrendered by his first owner. He was terrified and wouldn’t even let his foster pet him. Now he asks for love and cuddles all the time! Casper is potty trained, a healthy eater, does fast zoomies in the yard, and loves the ball to be thrown for him. He’ll definitely want to cuddle with you on the couch and sleep in bed with you at night. Casper is dog selective. He may be best as an only dog because he tends to be possessive of his human, but if you are someone looking for a little companion love bug, Casper will deliver! He has endless love to give. Casper does take time to warm up to his people and because of his past and breed, needs a home with no small children or other dogs as he can be a nippy chihuahua if caught off guard.

We offer a Foster program for those who would like to provide a temporary home to one in need.

All older puppies (6 mos or more) and adults are fully vetted prior to adoption.

Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue is a NO KILL animal rescue dedicated to providing shelter and loving care (which includes food, veterinary care and any other necessity) for animals that were abused, abandoned, owner surrendered, or destined to be euthanized due to over-crowded shelter conditions. Through the use of foster homes, Proverbs will care for these animals until such time as a good, responsible, loving home can be found for all adoptable animals.
