My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Loki I am a 9 month old 25 pound, Golden Retriever with Chi mix, and I am a friendly and affectionate young pup who is in search of a loving home. I am an intelligent dog who is always eager to please and I love to show my human friends just how smart I am. I enjoy spending my days playing, exploring, and snuggling up with my human friends when it is time to rest. While I have been told I am good with other dogs, I have not had the chance to interact with many other pups. If you are looking for a furry friend who will be your loyal companion, I am the perfect dog for you! Please consider adopting me and making me a part of your family.

Kids must be 8 or older to focus on training puppy. Local adopters only in NY, NJ and CT within 30 miles of NYC. Please note we will only adopt where we have trainers as this is required. We do not have a trainer in Suffolk County (if you are very far out), Bronx or Staten Island. Loki would be great with someone with a flexible schedule to give him time to decompress and continue crate training him.
Step 1, Email us suekmwdadoptions@gmail.com and tell us your experience with dogs and where u live. 2) If we need more info, we will send u an application 3) DO NOT CALL US 4) DO NOT EMAIL US at our website. We get hundreds of people interested in adopting our dogs and can not possibly get back to everyone. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please note we are volunteers and work with patients and can not take calls.

More about this rescue

We help puppies and dogs in NY area as well as take in dogs from Asia if asked. We also build dog houses if the owner does want to bring the dog in, however we try our best to get them to surrender or help us help the dog. Our main goal is for them to have a better life.
