Ariel is a 2 year old, 12 lb. Shih Tzu/Yorkie Mix
Ariel may be young, but she is an "old soul" at heart. She likes a quiet and calm lifestyle where, ideally, she would be the only pet in the home and receiver of ALL of her family's love. She is a sweet, little princess who loves to be around her humans and follow them everywhere. She is always happy to greet you with a tail wag when you come home (she will be watching for you from the window!) and has great house manners so she can be left out of a crate when you're away. She has almost totally mastered potty training too!
Because of Ariel's past, she will need a patient and understanding adopter who will give her time to settle into her forever home. She just wants to know she is safe and loved and then she will open up! She would do best with older, respectful kids or in a home with a couple or single person. She just wants to be your "baby"! Ariel loves her daily neighborhood walks and does well on the leash, except she does get tangled sometimes trying to explore and sniff! She does well with all the small dogs in her foster home and is a very easy-going playmate! She does use her crate, but would prefer to sleep in bed with you! If you are ready for a great cuddle buddy, apply to meet Ariel today!
Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!
