My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

From Stray to Star – Meet Daisy Mae!
This little sweetheart was found wandering the streets of Nash County, but now 3-year-old Daisy Mae is ready for her second chance at a forever home! She’s a 15 lb Maltese mix with a heart as fluffy as her coat, and trust us—she’s already mastering the art of being your best friend.
She is scheduled for her royal spa day…oops, we mean spay day in early October, and after that, she’ll be ready to start her forever adventure with YOU! This lovable girl will be all set to bring tons of love and happiness into your life! ✨
Whether it’s a cozy cuddle on the couch or a nice walk to show off her adorable looks, Daisy Mae is the perfect partner. She may have been found as a stray, but her days of wandering are over—all she needs now is YOU!
What does Daisy Mae come with? ✔️ 15 lbs of fluff and love ✔️ A playful, snuggly attitude ✔️ Eyes that will melt your heart
Get your applications in now! Daisy Mae will be ready to go home after her October "glow-up," and she’s dreaming of a family to call her own

Most of our dogs are seniors and we like to place them with elderly people

More about this rescue

We bring in the senior dogs and medically needy dogs.
We are a small rescue making a difference in the world. No dog deserves to dumped in a shelter after giving their entire life to a family.

I had locked myself away from the world back in 2010. I saw this tiny ShihTzu on the news that had been saved from a puppy mill bust. I adopted Princess Reagan Marie and she saved my life. I wanted to help other dogs so I started fostering. In May 2021 I open my rescue.
