My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Anna came to Mutts of the Midway with her two brothers (Chico and Teddy) and her mom, Allison. She is 6-weeks old and is still learning her way through house training and crate training.

She's a talkative girl who enjoys socializing with her siblings. She is a quick learner and even though she's still working on house training, she does well with peeing on the pee pads in her foster home. She's still working on going to the bathroom outside and crate training, but has improved a lot when it comes to crate training. Although she can be cautious at times, her interactions with the children in her foster home have gone well. If given the choice between naps and playing, along with food and toys, she sits in the middle and loves them all equally. She has a lot of love to give!

Find a pet you're interested online based on their profile and pictures OR at an event (adoption event, fundraiser, etc)

2.
Submit Application

Application is reviewed. References checked.

3.
Approve Application

If approved, schedule meet.

4.
Meet the Pet

Official meet and greet. If adopter and foster agree to move forward, on to next step.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

6.
Pay Fee

$300 for dogs older than 6 months. $350 for dogs 6 months and younger.

Take the Pet Home

Our mission is to provide Chicagoland families with adoptable dogs from across the U.S. and provide local education and resources.
We are excited to embark on this journey as a new foster-based rescue. We are looking to create a strong volunteer base. If you are interested please fill out our volunteer application here.
