My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet me at PawSafe, 348 Old Colony Rd, Eastford CT

Your best friend search ends here! Give this gal a chance, some basic obedience, and something to challenge her brain and you will have the bestest, smartest, and most devoted bestie ever. Nellie is an amazing girl who wants to be with her person. She makes fantastic eye contact and is just begging to work. She's not a lay around the house all day and do nothing kinda gal and will excel with someone who wants to get out there and and explore the trails, play in the yard, and then crash on the couch. She's dog friendly and happy to burn off some energy with a doggie friend as well. She's about a yearish old, has the best ears ever, and is spayed. She's ready to be yours!

More about this rescue

We work very closely with rescues in southern states to find new homes for dogs and puppies who deserve a family despite their state of origin.

Most of the puppies in our care come from over-crowded shelters in states with extreme over population and high kill rates. Our main goal is to place orphaned and unwanted animals into loving permanent homes.
