My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“With every wag of the tail, dogs stir waves of love within our hearts.” This makes us think of our sweet Simon! Simon weighs 46 pounds, and is a great choice if you want to adopt a medium sized dog.

Simon is a happy-go-lucky dog who is such a joyful presence! He has one of those wonderfully expressive doggie faces that looks like he is smiling at you. Simon is a sought after companion at the shelter, and we love spending time with him.

Simon has so much fun in the fenced yard, where he bounds about in total joy and loves to play. He also enjoys daily walks.

Simon enjoys being pet and cuddled and is such a delightful companion!

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
