Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tippy is the sweetest of sweethearts! I hate to give her up, but my resident cat has drawn a hard line. She's hoping for a new home with a yard, and maybe even other dogs or kids!
Strengths:
1. Excellent recall; also trained on e-collar for back-up recall.
2. Knows sit, down, stay, and heel very well (still practicing "place"). If you enforce it, she knows to sit at the threshold of a door and wait to be released before continuing through.
3. Dream outdoor dog! She loves hiking and camping. Could be an ideal trail running or backpacking companion.
4. Tires from mental stimulation (e.g. training, sniffing) on low-exercise days.
5. Passive- as the runt of her litter, she is extremely passive, has never escalated a fight with other dogs, has never come close to hurting my cat despite multiple opportunities.
6. Great on long car rides.
Challenges:
1. Busy nose- loses focus
2. Minor separation anxiety- prefers her crate when left alone during the day.
