Meet Jonah, a beautiful three year old pure bred German shepherd. Jonah has found himself in very sad circumstances because his mom died suddenly and he is looking for a new family. Jonah is a typical shepherd, playful and fun. He loves being with people and getting affection. He is a great ball player who never seems to tire. He’s always up for a good game of fetch.

Jonah is neutered, up to date on vaccines, house broken and knows some basic commands. He walks well on a leash and enjoys his daily outings. Jonah would love a family of his own who will provide him with companionship and love. He is incredibly friendly but doesn't always realize how big he is, so he may do best in a house without small children. He has not shown any aggression toward other dogs but has only lived in a single dog household, so he may need a gradual introduction to living with other pets. Jonah is located in Durham, NC

Because of this belief, our adoption process is what some would described as lengthy and can be emotional.
