My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Velvet is a gorgeous girl! She is very sweet but wants to be your only love. She was found on the streets of Los Angeles where she was being abused and mistreated by children. Once rescued she gave birth to six gorgeous kittens (Ozzy, Toby, Chloe, Luna, Panther, and Robin).

Velvet has tested positive for FIV (SNAP test) but she is healthy and waiting for her forever home. A FIV diagnosis should not be a deterrent to adopting her. She can live a long life with no issues. But like any other cat she needs proper nutrition and care. All the more reason to give her a great home and love her forever. Just look at those beautiful golden eyes. How could you resist?!?

Velvet would be best as an only cat or adopted with one or more of her kittens.
