My name is Velvet!

Velvet is a gorgeous sleek black cat. She was rescued from the streets of Los Angeles where neighborhood children were abusing her by throwing rocks at her and kicking her. After being rescued she had six gorgeous kittens all of whom are also available for adoption. She is gentle and loves to be petted. Velvet has tested positive for FIV (SNAP test). She is healthy and can live a very long life as long as she gets good nutrition, vet care and is indoors only. Because of this she needs to be an only cat or reside in a home with another FIV positive cat. FIV is not contagious to dogs or humans. And it is only transmitted to other cats through deep bites during cat fights.
