My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lizzi is a sweet calico girl who is looking for a home with lots of love, soft blankets, and humans to dote on her. She my start off a little shy but after some head scratches and wet food, she will be your best friend! Lizzi enjoys cuddling in your lap while you watch TV, playing with wand toys, and watching birds from the safety of a window indoors. She's great at keeping herself busy when her humans are away as well. Lizzi has done well with other cats but has not met dogs. She would probably prefer a home without dogs but if the dog was calm and left her alone they could likely co-exist well. Lizzi has done well with our kids as well as long as they are patient and gentle with her.

Come see me at the Petco in Stillwater at 2080 Market Drive, Stillwater, MN 55082.

I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age.

More about this rescue

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
