Kiki is our beloved eight-year-old 44 lb Beagle Mix who has been with us since September 2019. She was rescued from the streets of Rosarito by Bobbi deLuz / Pups n Boots, and at the time, she was very pregnant. With the help of Bobbie and Baja Small Pets / Dr. Jorge, Kiki safely delivered her pups. After being fostered, we brought her home and fell in love instantly.
Kiki has been an incredible companion-healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, and without any medical issues. She's a laid-back, easy-going dog who is happy lounging at home but will bark when she sees other dogs or people walking by. While she may bark o lunge at other dogs on leash, she's always gotten along well with our friends' dogs during visits and playdates. Though we don't have experience with her around children or cats, we do know that she was happiest as an only dog.
Sadly, in recent weeks, our other dog, Frida, who we've had for three years, has developed aggressive behaviors toward Kiki. As heartbreaking as it is, we've come to the difficult decision that it's best for Kiki to find a new, loving home where she can be the center of attention and feel safe.
Kiki is a sweet, loyal dog who's easy to take care of and would do best in a calm, loving environment. If you're looking for a low-maintenance companion who'll bring lots of love into your life, Kiki might be the perfect fit!
