Meet Theo! This handsome silver pittie lab mix has fantastic leash manners and house manners! Sweet, gentle, and always ready to please, Theo would make the perfect companion for someone looking for a new friend.
He spent some time in foster and this is what his foster family had to say: He is completely house-trained. I took him out every 4-5 hours, and he never had any issues. He's also crate-trained and had no problem with the crate. I let him roam the living room when I was away, and he didn't chew on shoes or furniture. He wasn't too interested in toys, but he did enjoy a rope toy for tug-of-war when he got the zoomies, and a ball that hides treats. He also chews on bones occasionally, but he seems to prefer ones made of edible material rather than rigid ones.
He's such an amazing dog! It took him about a week to come out of his shell, but now he loves walking, eating, and snuggling. He enjoys cuddling on the couch and getting lots of pets. He's very relaxed in the evenings but has a lot of energy during walks. He's never aggressive and doesn't bark at people passing by. On the leash, he's curious about other dogs and squirrels and will pull towards them, but he doesn't jump or bark.

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
