For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps Austin Pets Alive! with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sitter needed: 10/17/24 - 10/21/24
Meet Peter Criss! This sweet boy is ready to rock 'n' roll right into your life! Peter's friendly, affectionate, and silly puppy self will keep you smiling all day every day. He is incredibly smart and quick to learn. He adapts easily to new environments and loves making new friends - people and pets alike! He has enjoyed playing with resident dogs and loves everyone he meets when he's out and about. He is a great pal to have with you at a cafe or brewery, as he is friendly to everyone who walks by and settles in easily in public and on the leash for walk time.
Peter would do well in most home environments, given his youthful spirit and eagerness to please. He would likely benefit from a dog sibling or two who can help show him the ropes as he grows, but it's not a requirement. He would also do equally as well as a the only pet, as long as he continues to get plenty of opportunities to socialize. He seems to enjoy the company of children as well. He has not been observed around cats.
