Meet Slugger Henry, a 1-year-old, 10-pound terrier mix who was found as a stray before making his way to CAMO Rescue. Since arriving, Slugger's fun-loving personality has blossomed, and his zest for life shines through every day. He loves running around outside, whether he's playing with other dogs or hanging out with people. Slugger Henry thrives on attention and enjoys being the star of the show.
Currently, he's doing well with both potty and leash training but will need a consistent routine to master these skills. Slugger Henry would fit perfectly into any type of home, including one with children. He's ready to find his forever family where he can continue to spread joy and love.
Slugger tested hw positive and was treated with 30 days of doxy and given a proheart 12 shot. He will need to be retested in 6 mos (4/25) and if positive given another proheart 12 injection and another 30 days of doxycycline.

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another.
