Hello humans, I’m a handsome little Cairn Terrier mix named Brewster. I am about 4 years old, 16 lbs, and my gorgeous golden locks hardly shed. I was living inside a water culvert in Nixon Texas and I was a wreck. Besides being lonely, scared, and hungry, I had a skin infection, eye infection, ear infection, an umbilical hernia, and was in desperate need of a dental. It was a happy day indeed when the local shelter found me and reached out to 4 Little Paws Rescue, and now I’m like a new dog! Healthy, happy, and friendly with everyone, and now I have a great smile too!

I’m a good boy with a sweet temperament and a medium energy level. I’m starting to feel more playful with my doggy friends, preferring girls over boys. I guess you could say I’m a ladies' man. I’m discovering doggy toys and doggy treats, and always love snuggles and pets without being clingy or over the top about it. Sometimes I enjoy being a loner, curling up in my dog bed to just watch the goings on or look out the window. I only bark when I need to alert you to something and I am working on my housebreaking lessons and doing well. I don't mind going for walks on a leash or taking rides in the car and I don't mind a crate if I’m not left in there all day! I’m a confident dog who seeks direction and aims to please the humans I love so much. I’ve proven myself to be very resilient and I’m looking forward to the next and final chapter of my story… finding a loving family who will take good care of me.
