Maria came to us because her guardian has been stricken with a fatal illness. If you would like a mellow, lap-loving, affectionate girl, Maria is the one for you. She is good with cats and other dogs, but because she really wants to spend time with "her' person, she might be happier as the only dog that lives in the house. Maria is current on all vaccinations, spayed, and micro-chipped. We are anxious to find the perfect home for this very loving girl.

The ARF House is staffed on the weekends and during the week by appointment. All dogs stay with foster families, and our cats reside in a large, open cattery on the premises.

Idyllwild Animal Rescue Friends is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that was created in 1994. ARF's mission is to rescue animals that have been abandoned, lost, or whose owners are no longer able to care for them. We provide foster care until forever homes are located. Our animals are spay/neutered, receive necessary shots and other veterinary care as needed.
