Good with cats? Yes, Jorts loves other cats and befriended the resident cat in her foster home following a slow introduction using a closed door, then a baby gate.
Good with kids? Not Tested. Jorts needs a patient adopter who can be very observant of her behavior, help her learn to trust humans, and respect her boundaries. Jorts does not enjoy sudden movements or surprising sounds.
Energy level: High, with typical kitten energy! She loves toys and has spurts of crazy energy and zoomies, but will later nap for hours. Several good daily play sessions keep her happy.
Animal Characteristics: Jorts is a shy kitten who is learning to trust humans. She needs plenty of time to warm up to someone new and will need an adopter who can be very patient with her, as it may take months for her to become fully socialized and blossom. She observes behavior of other cats, so if her adopter has a friendly, affectionate cat, Jorts may watch and learn how to interact with loving humans.
