My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome boy is called Willie and he is a very special 2-year-old, 50 lb aussiedoodle that once was a puppy at a small town breeders home. As a puppy he was not adopted out because she fell on hard times and ran out of ways to get him networked. Soon he was just left in an outdoor pen with his brother and a neighbor fed him because the breeder lady could not hardly walk much less feed these growing and rambunctious puppies who were starved for attention. We have rescued him and the matting was so shamefully awful and burdening him that it was necessary to shave down to virtually no hair. He will be a handsome boy once again given about 4-5 months of hair growth. What we know about Willie is that he is a sweet spirit that seems to be happy even though his life has been dreadfully sad. He loves other dogs and we feel that he would be fine with cats and will be introducing him soon. We call this boy even though a designer combination breed, we call him a truly rescued dog. We are looking for a great family to give him all the love and focused attention to polish his dog manners and to make him a shining example of how far a rescued dog can come. If you were interested in this handsome boy named Willie, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com

PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
