My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Benny- 60 lb, 12 months old, black with white paws, lab/shepard mix

Handsome Benny may look full grown but he's still just a playful, energetic puppy! This boy loves to play and wrestle with other dogs, he requires a fenced in yard where the fence is at least 5 ft high so he can run and explore. He needs a doggie playmate. He's agile enough to jump a fence should he want to, even though he has not tried at his foster home. He knows commands like come, sit and paw. Benny is a quiet, very friendly pup and great with people. He looks forward to cuddling up on the couch with his family. We think he would do very well in a two dog household as he does get lonely and bored when left alone. Exercise is a must for this boy so an active family would be great for him. He is fully potty trained.

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website.
