🩵 Meet Achilles! 🩵

Achilles earned his name as he came to us with a nasty wound on his leg. He is fully healed and eager to find a family of his own!

Achilles is an approximately 2 year old doodle boy. He is tall and lean and weighs about 60 pounds. He is a very smart boy that lives for affection and to please his people. He has medium to high energy but really dislikes disappointing people so if he starts to get a little too high energy he is easily redirected and loves to show off how well he listens! Achilles is very food motivated and knows a few basic commands like sit, lay, and bed. He does pretty well on a leash but pulls a small amount and needs a reminder from time to time. He has been great in his foster home with children ranging from 11 months old to 11 years old. He has also done great with the other dogs in the home, big or small! Achilles does sleep in his crate overnight with no accidents or destruction. He does need more practice with potty training. A professional dog trainer has offered a free training session to whoever his adoptive family is, but says he really is a great boy! He is also a certified good boy from the groomer. If you are looking for a sweet boy to lay at your feet and be the best companion, he is your guy!

Achilles is current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick, dewormed, microchipped, and neutered.
