For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This bunny is so perfect he should be on the Cadbury Egg package! His name is Waffles and he's about 2 years old. He came to us due to someone in his home being allergic to him. Little Waffles truly is a perfect bunny! He's incredibly friendly and easy-going, and he has no shyness about him whatsoever. He loves making a new friend, checking out new things, and bopping around, seeing what he can wiggle his nose at. He's happy to be picked up and thrives on attention. Waffles could easily be litter-box trained and he seems happy to check out the other bunnies in his area also. Waffles is ready to meet you and join your family! Call 609-693-1900 or email: office@ahsppz.org to meet him. File#76145 9/27/24

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not for profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
Please visit our website AHSCares.org for additional information.
