My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rain is the best dog I've ever met in my entire life! She is drivey in the most quality ways possible, from treats, to toys, to simply kibble; she is willing to do anything for just about anything & anyone! She gets along with other dogs, kids, and ALL people! She is sweeter than sweet and adores cuddling up on the sofa when she's invited. Her Mali-gator chompies never stop cracking us up! She has all of her basic commands down to an absolute tee! Rain is crate-trained, house-broken, has solid manners, you name it, she's got it! ALL at only about 1.5 years old, and personally, she'd be home with me if I could! Rain has spent her life living with dogs, little kids, and just about every pet you can imagine! But the reason she's ended up with us is because she does not like cats, lizards, or chickens! So If you're looking for one of the best, if not THE best malinois girl out there, come meet Rain!

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
