A FUN AND FRIENDLY KITTY: Approx. 2 years old / 8.5 lbs.

Hello, I’m Paco! I made my way to Mostly Mutts in need of a good home. Fortunately, they had a great foster home for me, where I am getting great care while I wait for my new family to find me.

• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I met another kitty in my foster home and – though I was curious and non-aggressive towards them, they weren’t very interest in engaging with me, so our meeting was cut short. I may enjoy another kitty in my home, so if you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet! / Dogs unknown / Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten, but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: My foster says I am very friendly and affectionate with people and not at all shy about making new human friends. I’m curious and always want to explore places which may include the bottom of couches, beds and living room book shelves. So, I have a keen sense of wonder which isn’t a bad thing, but I have been guilty of knocking items off counters and would benefit from a scratching post to save the furniture. My friendly nature makes me a great addition to a loving home.

• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I am responsive to play sessions, though I seem to lose interest very shortly thereafter. However, I DON’T get tired of getting pets or affection and am very vocal while requesting you attention. I like to be where things are happening and will climb on counters and tables, so be mindful of loose items when I am left unattended. I enjoy batting around pompons and respond well to fetch games. I’m also interested in the toy that has the rope and bait attached to it. / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!

• MEDICAL: I’m up to date on my shots, neutered, microchipped and combo tested negative.

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process

Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:

Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!

Adoption Info:
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.

Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.

You may also call our phone line, 770-272-6888 or email adopt@mostlymutts.org with specific questions about any of our adoptable animals. We do require an interview, references and a contract. Must be 21 or over to adopt. Our Adoption process is very thorough...MM prides itself in making every effort to place each animal in the right home.

Dogs: Our adoption fee is $299. Each dog that Mostly Mutts adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting as well as an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash:

Spay or Neuter Surgery
Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordatella)
De-Worming
Microchip
Heartworm Testing (1 yr & older) we pay for treatment for any HW+ animal after adoption at our own vet

Cats: Our adoption fee is $175 for cats. Each cat that Mostly Mutts adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting as well as an engraved name tag:

Spay or Neuter Surgery
Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, FVRCP)
De-Worming
Combo-Tested (FeLV/FIV)
