My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pearl came to us from a local animal shelter where she had been surrendered. This pretty senior girl is 10+ years old, 11 lbs and a little fluffapotomus:) She is seeking the companionship or a quiet family where she can enjoy her retirement days. Pearl would do best in a family with calm dogs or as a single companion. She has limited hearing and mobility but enjoys walks to the yard for potty breaks and the quiet companionship of her foster mom and dad. She has had a complete dental and requires a soft food diet, but is in very good health for a lady of her age. Due to her age she is unable to be spayed so she will not be placed in a family with intact dogs or who have intact dogs that visit. Adopters should be aware that senior dogs offer so much love and joy to their families but may require more routine vet care to ensure their health as they age. Please help use find this wonderful girl a family to call her own.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Once the adoption application is received, a home visit will be set up. If that goes well and is approved, then a vet check is completed (if the applicant has recently owned an animal, if not, two professional references will be required). Once both of those are approved, then the adoption fee will need to be paid.
