My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have a ground transport trip set to leave from CA on 10/22 that we are personally taking our dogs on to the east coast. We have stops in OH, PA, NJ, and CT as of now, and would love to add Mia to our transport for the right home no matter where you are in route! Adoption fee/travel is due when we arrive in person with Mia in hand, as we want our adopters to feel as comfortable as possible throughout the entire adoption process ❤️

Meet Mia. She is a purebred Pomeranian. She is 2 years of age. She weighs 6 lbs. Yes, she is full grown and at a healthy weight. She is spayed, current on all vaccines, microchipped, has had a thourel exam with our vet and has been cleared to find a home all her own!

Where do I begin 🙃 Mia is an exceptional companion dog. When she loves you, she LOVES you with her entire little ❤️ She is a TOTAL velcro dog. She will follow you everywhere you go, as she loves being with her human at all times, yes, even to the restroom 😅

She is a foodie at heart and loves anything she is able to convince you to give her simply because you love her, want her happy and to keep her belly full 😂 Yes, she will convince you of this so be prepared 😅

She is house trained, and will go outside to use the restroom when needed. She is also pad trained, and will use pads if they are in her area. She is leash trained and really looks forward to her walks. She is crate trained, but doesn't use one in our home anymore. She has made it very clear that our bed is hers too 🤷‍♀️ and what Mia says goes 😬

She is wonderful with all dogs here and cats alike. She however doesn't need to be in a home with other animals because she loves her princess title and to be doted on as she so rightfully deserves to be. She is happy being the center of her persons world, so being the only "fur child" will be something she takes very seriously 😉

She is not a barker, but is a very good alert barker. She will always warn you of unfamiliar noises. She feels very strongly about keeping her family safe, so this is also something she doesn't take lightly and will always investigate very confidently any and all sounds she hears to make sure you are safe.

She is VERY smart. She is aims to please and is always looking for her persons recognition of approval that she is being a good girl. She is extremely attentive to her persons needs, and one thing we always catch her doing is admiring her humans here (especially my husband as she is a total daddy's girl 😊) She is great with men and women, but she definitely has a soft spot for men.

She is confident, outgoing, loving, kind hearted, and a total diva at times but when you mix together all of her wonderful attributes you are left with total

sweetness packed into 6 lbs of LOVE ❤️❤️❤️

Her prior owner fell on hard times financially and couldn't care for Mia any longer the way she deserved. She didn't want her to go without as she deserved the world, so she contacted us here to take her in and find her a new person to LOVE ❤️

Her adoption fee is at the bottom of her adoption listing on our website at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/__mia-1. It covers her spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, general anesthesia, along with her overall physical exam with our vet whom has cleared her to find a home all her own. She was also given an antibiotic shot to aid in the healing of her spay due to her small size 💕 She is healing beautifully ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

And, as always her adoption fee covers the care involved in the time she has been here with us, her grooming costs, and the training we have personally done with her.

Additional adoption info

we are very hands on in the work we do and strive to be a part of our dog's journeys from beginning to end. We do not make our adopters jump through unnecessary hoops to obtain our approval, as we believe this should be an overall joyous experience.
