My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Juliet and Romeo can go home on or after October 4, but you can still come and visit them!

JULIET AND ROMEO ARE A BONDED PAIR, AND ARE LOOKING FOR A HOME TOGETHER

Age: 2 months

Juliet and Romeo were found huddled together, missing their mom, a tiny scared little pile of fluffy kittens. In their foster home, they gradually gained confidence and learned how nice the attention of people can be. As devoted to each other as the star crossed lovers who are their namesakes, we are nevertheless hoping for a happier ending for these two and are looking to send each other to a home where they can continue to gain confidence by each other's side. Their foster mom says Romeo is especially shy without his sister, but when Juliet is around he becomes a sweet and cuddly boy. Juliet is the the little adventurer, always ready to explore. These little ones can still be shy with new people and environments and will likely take some more time to fully adjust to a new home, but once they settle in they are a pair of sweethearts! If you'd like to adopt this puddle of kitten cuteness, then come check them out!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
