My name is Jane. I am about 40 lbs and 2.5 years old. I have been patiently waiting for my turn to find my own family. I was sitting in a shelter and heartworm positive. We know how hard it is to find fosters for HW+ dogs because the treatment can be lengthy but I totally lucked out. I got the best foster mom who saw me through the whole process to cure me! My foster mom says I have been so easy to have around. I am a husky mix - I am on the smaller size - I might gain a few more pounds now that I am healthy! I am great with everyone - kids, cats, dogs. However, I don't need a ton of action nor a busy household. We think I would enjoy her person or people the most out of everything else. I definitely interact with the other dogs but I am more focused on where my foster mom is and if it were my choice, I would be next to her all the time! I guess my "aloofness" that is a trait of huskies comes out with cats and dogs. I am a great car rider, great at the vet and I like to go on outings. I am pretty social and I think I would love to opportunity to get out and about! I am also very affectionate and I never pass up pets! After all checks on the application have been completed, the potential adopter will speak with the rescue to discuss what they are looking for and if a dog will be a great fit in their home. Once an application is submitted, the adopter will hear from the rescue within 72 hours.
The fee for puppies under 6 months is $525 and the fee for dogs 6 months and older is $425. This fee contributes to (but not limited to) all core vaccinations for each puppy/dog, microchip, spay/neuter, HW testing and prevention and flea/tick prevention while under the rescue's care and transportation.
