My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buffet is a shy, and sweet 11-year-old, nine-pound, male orange tabby cat looking for a loving guardian.

This gentle soul came from a home with over 50 cats. He retreats into the dark of enclosed cat baskets and loves to knead his paws in fluffy blankets.

He might snuggle with his human after warming up, but he’s very accustomed to sharing his space with any number of cats.

Buffet is well-behaved in the home and uses his litter box like a good boy.

He is a healthy senior, de-wormed, neutered, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, virus-tested negative, and microchipped. He has no teeth, and likes his food warmed with broth like a little meal of soupy cat broth.

To meet and possibly adopt Buffet, please fill out an adoption application https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HLIL/Cat

After the application is complete, please contact meeowchicago@gmail.com to schedule an appointment to meet her.

His adoption fee is $75 benefits the Heartland Animal Shelter. If you happened to be 65 years of age or +, his adoption fee is free as part of the seniors for senior program.

He is currently being fostered at Meeow Chicago in Schiller Park, Illinois.
