Meet Tinka! This shy girl is looking for a home to relax into after the hustle and bustle of the shelter. Tinka will likely appreciate a family that's willing to take things slow with her and enjoy time decompressing in low-pressure situations as she builds a relationship with her people. She enjoys exploring the world using her nose and bacon. Tinka is recommended for a home with another dog, and she will only be rehomed to a family with children 10 or older due to her tender personality. Primary Color: White Weight: 59.62 Age: 5yrs 0mths 3wks

Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter and first vaccines, medical exam, and microchip.
How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.
We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.
Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.
