My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Bazooka, and I was recently taken into the rescue when a very good-hearted person found me loose in a local town. Sadly, so many people are dumping their domestic bunnies a I was another of those buns.

I do not know why my family decided to part with me as I am a friendly bun who will come to you for gentle petting and attention. I am not a fan of being picked up but that is quite common for buns since we are prey animals.

I have now been neutered and have wonderful litterbox habits. I may be a great bonding candidate for any spayed females searching for a husbun. I am full grown and not much older than a year of age. I weigh about 5 lbs.

I am eating a proper diet of Oxbow Adult Timothy Pellets, lots of timothy hay and a big bowl of fresh water. I also love my daily salads of things like romaine, carrot tops, parsley and even a bit of cilantro. Please do not forget my treats in moderation of course of banana, apple and even blueberries.

Would you consider opening your heart and home to a sweet guy like me?

More about this rescue

After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
