Meet Zeus, the sweetest boy who's ready to find his forever home!
Zeus is a 1.5-year-old Pitbull Dogo Argentino mix with a heart of gold. Despite a rough start in life, including an attack by a wild animal and being surrendered to a rescue, Zeus has never lost his gentle spirit and happy-go-lucky attitude.
He's incredibly friendly with everyone - people, dogs, cats, and even kids! Zeus is mostly potty trained inside, and he's always eager to please his humans and be by their side. He's a fairly submissive dog, but he does have some crate anxiety that would benefit from some gentle training.
Why Zeus would be the perfect companion:
Loving and gentle: Zeus is a total sweetheart who loves to be around people.
Dog-friendly: He gets along great with other dogs and would love to have a canine companion in his new home.
Kid-friendly: Zeus is comfortable and gentle around children.
Intelligent and eager to please: He's a quick learner who loves to make his humans happy.
Zeus is looking for a home with:
Another dog for comfort
Someone who is willing to work with his crate anxiety
A family who will give him lots of love and attention
If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and playful companion, Zeus is the dog for you!
Zeus' adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers his neuter, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care he may have needed while in the rescue's care.
We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website. www.northernlakesrescue.org

More about this rescue
Our Vision is to be a voice for those who are voiceless. We hear them with our hearts and give them a voice. Looking into the eyes of a rescued animal will speak volumes; watching those eyes light up will have an everlasting impact on you and the rescued animals.
We aren’t a typical rescue as we don’t take in dogs and put them in kennels until they’re adopted. All dogs we rescue are placed in loving foster homes that teach them to be the best dog they can be.
Our journey doesn’t end with adoption, either. We are here for you to support you in integrating your new member into your home, cheer new triumphs, and help with struggles.
