According to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Glinda is a kind and powerful sorceress who "knows how to keep young in spite of the many years she has lived." Our Glinda? Same! Suspiciously youthful for an elder, her coat is a triumph of terrier artistry: red, black, and gray scruffs, lace, trims and finishes. She dotes on strangers, loves a long walk, probably casts the odd spell, (good magic only), and gives excellent advice. Her core belief: There's no place like a forever home. Make it so!
Here's some notes from her foster:
As soon as we picked up Glinda and got her in the car, she was SO happy. Once we got home, she was an entirely different dog! She is so incredibly happy in the apartment and has been a little shadow.
She is the most loving and easy-going girl. She absolutely loves cuddles and really leans into every hug.
She is full of energy! Truly acts like a puppy and would need a long walk(s) each day to stay happy. I would recommend she go to a d active home.
Despite all of her energy, on the very first night with us she stayed in her bed next to ours the entire night. We are very impressed by how well-behaved she is (although still working on "sit").
Very good in public spaces. Seems to be a low anxiety dog and not overly bothered by loud noises (like the Blue Angels during Fleet Week!)
Compatible with cats; doesn't really fuss with other dogs on walks (not reactive)
