My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

?? Meet Mernal! ??

Mernal is a special 5-year-old Domestic Short Hair who found herself surrendered to the Pet Adoption Center with her housemate on 9/17/24. While her housemate, Extra, was adopted, Mernal struggled with the shelter environment, becoming distressed and lashing out at staff members during simple tasks like cleaning her kennel or giving her love and medication.

Thankfully, a beautiful and patient soul stepped up to foster her until February. According to her foster, Mernal needs someone with lots of patience who can give her space. She craves love and enjoys being petted and lightly brushed. Mernal loves to sit on laps, rub against hands, and has her own fluffy pet pad, contour pillow, and blanket. She sleeps with her foster and enjoys playing with laser lights, long ribbons, and toy mice. Mernal eats well and seems content in a loving, patient environment. ??

If you have the patience and love to give, Mernal could be the perfect addition to your family! ????
