For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, my name is Gordon! I came to the shelter as a stray, and my fur was in terrible shape. The medical team shaved my matted fur and gave me a bath I so desperately needed. I still have some healing ahead of me as my skin was affected as well. You'll have to excuse my silly haircut until you can get me properly groomed once I am feeling all better. Despite the neglect I have faced, I am a sweet old man and I enjoy getting attention and affection from people. I am not fond of sharing my treats, and I ask that any kids in the home be 13 and older, who can respect my boundaries. I just want to find my furever home where I will be loved and taken care of as I always should have been. Do I sound like a match for you?
--- If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm. --- The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center 848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603 Kennel #16516 717-917-6979 lancaster@pspca.org
