Bullet is a very active heeler mix. TOtally cute ,great with people and good with other dogs BUT she has to learn manners and prescence with other dogs. She is very smart and needs the opportunity to learn boundaries and manners. Give her a week out of the shelter with proper exercise, she will be an awesome girl!! Def sports prospect!!
Currently in Okeechobee shelter, this girl is in need of a heeler savvy/ active dog home that can provide her with mental stim and activities to tone down all that energy, couple that with some basic training and she will be an awesome girl!!
We are in need of a FOSTER or FOSTER TO ADOPT to get her out of the shelter. She is open to public for adoption too, so please go down and adopt if you are interested in her. We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application.When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We have a virtual home-check process (don't forget to submit photos of the exterior of your home!) Adoption fees range depending on the age of the dog. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.

Since all rescue dogs live in foster homes, there is no single facility to meet pups.

You will need to contact Ewenity Farms HDH to make arrangements to meet the rescue dog after you have an approved app on file. Apps can be filled out at ewenityfarm.org

More about this rescue

We are a small, foster-based rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one-on-one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.

It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.
