My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Walks + Car Rides = A happy Daisy 🌼🐶
Is wonderful with other dogs
Love everyone she meets, so friendly
Is Food Motivated but so gentle
She loves her Walks and meeting new people.
14 yr old but still active

Daisy is incredibly easy to handle on walks. Her pace is more akin to a slow stroll, and she always takes time to stop and smell the flowers (or say hi to new people and dogs). She also travels beautifully in the car - either lounges in the back or sits up to watch the world cruise by. Both activities are so simple and fill her with pure joy. She’s easy to please and one of the happiest dogs I’ve ever fostered.
If you would like a little daily sunshine in your life, please consider adopting Miss Daisy.

More about this rescue

West Jersey Volunteers for Animals (WJVA) is a non-profit group formed in 1998 by four volunteers determined to improve quality of life and medical care for homeless animals. We do not have a facility and rely on foster homes for the dogs we rescue from crowded shelters. Our adoption fees and donations are used to pay for our medical expenses. We spend thousands of dollars every year on saving homeless animals.

Our group is all volunteers with years of experience providing homeless animals with love, exercise, medical care, foster homes, training, and socialization. During the past 20 years, our group gained a great deal of wonderful contacts and support in the areas of general animal care, veterinary care, pet grooming and boarding, training, resolution of pet behavior problems, food donations, and fundraising. We are dedicated to continue to build our community partnerships to carry on our work on behalf of homeless animals.
