"Hi there!! My name is Leonardo (nope, not related to DiCaprio and I’m not into skinny models. I like curves on my ladies). My foster family says that I'm food motivated and an excellent "watch" dog (i.e., I love to watch the refrigerator open when you're getting me a snack)! Do you want to see my toys?? I love to play, tug, and fetch with my favorite people!
My perfect day consists of chewing on my bacon-flavored benebone followed by a serious power nap. Wait, did I just see you grab the leash? Yes! I would love to go for a walk! I'm no athlete but I’m a gold medalist when it comes to sniffing the world around me. I also need my parent to keep an eye on the time so I’m not outside too long and may overheat, especially in the hot summer months. I don't have a prey drive, but that doesn’t mean I’m not the protective type!
I am amicable with other dogs, and totally love kids! I understand that you can't always be with me. I may bark the first couple time when you leave, but once I’m used to it, I adapt pretty fast.
Oh! You just sat down! Wonderful, now I can snuggle next to you. Just being with you is my favorite time of the day!

Once application received and references verified, potential adopters will be scheduled for a phone interview

Home Check
Rescue volunteer will schedule and conduct an at home visit. All family members that live in home must be present.

Approve Application
Once all information verified and home visit conducted, application will be reviewed for final decision. Adoption decision will be emailed.
5.
Meet the Pet
Bullies will be matched based on family lifestyle and bully temperament. Adopters will need to travel to foster home to meet bully.
6.
Sign Adoption Contract
Once match is made, adopters sign e-contract.
7.
Pay Fee
Adoption fees varies depending on age of bully. Adoption fees range from $500-$1000 and can be paid via venmo, paypal and/or zelle.

We are an all volunteer foster-based rescue. Bullies live in foster homes across Miami-Dade County and surrounding areas. Once matched with a bully, a meet and greet with foster family will be arranged.
