🌱 My Story:
Hi guys. I’m Hyun. I’m a 3 year old male Jindo mix with a charming cream-beige coat. Weighing at 15 kg, I’m a calm gentleman. I had two other siblings when I first came to the shelter. Among the three of us, I’m the most calm and patient one. I miss them so much as they found their loving families but that’s okay because I’m now ready for find a loving family of my own!

Although I never met children under 13 years old, I mostly welcome hoomans especially ladies! I’ll let them pet me even if it’s my first time greeting them. Oh, no offence, but it takes a bit of time for me to get to know men in general. Involving treats won’t really help because I won’t take them especially in a new environment. Being in a new environment makes me nervous but I absolutely love hoomans. So please give me a bit of time and distance. Once I get to know you, I’ll even let you put your arms under my belly to lift me up. With other furry friends, I like to approach them first just to say hello. But because I’m a gentleman and respect their personal space, I don’t always play with them. Sometimes there are some furry friends that aren’t so nice to others and I’ve seen them before. In this case, I simply step back. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react. Speaking of which, since I’m also curious about it, I’ll get tested and see how I react.

I don’t guard my food against hoomans and other furry friends. I don’t bark, but stay calm when put in a crate, and generally do my business outside. Like I mentioned before, I’m a gentleman. I may though, pull on the leash a bit but generally following along well. When going out for a walk, there is a chance that I may mark, so please keep that in mind as well. I enjoy outdoor activities but also like to rest peacefully afterward.

My initial shyness will fade away once I get to know you. If you’re looking for a loving and gentle friend, I’ll be the right one for you. Let’s make some memorable life journey together full of happiness and love! ❤️

Go meet their pets

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.
