Meet Cashew!

Cashew, a 4-year-old Yorkie mix, is a high-energy pup who frequently comes to us as a stray. Since he was found on the streets, we don't know much about his background. However, we've noticed he'll need training to curb his nipping and improve his manners. Despite this, his playful personality and boundless energy would be a great fit for an active family. Queen Anne's County Animal Services (QACAS) strives to find the best match for both person/family and for our animals looking for their long time homes. In order to foster or adopt an animal, the person or family must submit a short adoption application and speak to the staff.

Our adoption fees cover QACAS costs of spay and neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and assist in the continued mission of QACAS to save the lives of homeless pets. Dogs are $140, Cats $45, and Small Animals (such as hamsters, etc) are $20.
